Focus on staff wellbeing

Working alongside the colleagues in our Wellbeing and Estates teams, our Charity continues to support the staff area improvement programme by funding enhanced facilities such as comfortable seating as well as dining furniture and utensils in our hospitals and community settings.

Thanks to a grant from NHS Charities Together, one of the areas the Charity has supported is the staff rest area in Wards 1 and 2 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Temi Olasimbo, administrator at Wards 1 and 2, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich said: 

We are grateful to the Trust’s Charity for helping transform our staff rest area. My colleagues and I now look forward to having our breaks and having this welcoming space is helping to build team camaraderie
