Abbie also took the time to tell us why she was organising this raffle: "Older patients are often the most vulnerable, sometimes facing long hospital stays and loneliness. I wanted to do something that shows they are cared for, valued, and not forgotten. Every ticket purchased is a small act of kindness, helping to bring comfort and support to those who need it most. This is also my way of giving back to the NHS and the incredible staff who work tirelessly to care for others. If this raffle can bring even a small amount of light into someone’s day, then it truly means everything".
