On Sunday 3rd of September we couldn't have been more proud or excited to stand on mile 12 to cheer on our awe inspiring colleagues and supporters as they completed the 13.1 mile course from Tower Bridge to the Cutty Sark.

Despite the very warm weather, forty colleagues from across the trust as well as supporters, completed the Big Half for our charity. We are grateful to all those who took part in this challenge for our charity and highlighting some of our champions:

Our team of ten LGT Graduate Management Trainees: Amy, Rachel, Jess, Olivia, Lewis, Matt, Raj, Dan, Ed and Genesis raised an eyewatering £2,522

Chief People officer Meera Nair and Chief of Staff Kate Anderson raised an amazing £579

QEH Paediatric team colleagues Jessica, Jasmin and Frances raised an incredible £323

Bunmi, Associate General Manager Maternity and Neonates held tuck shops as part of fundraising totalling an impressive £217

In total Team LGT raised an astonishing £4,299 to support our charity and help us make a difference to patients and staff at the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

We are so grateful to all those who took part in the Big Half and extend our grateful thanks to all those who so generously donated towards their fundraising pages. #GO TEAM LGT
