We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues within the Lewisham and Greenwich Trust to represent our team as Charity Champions

What is a Charity Champion? 

If you become a Charity Champion, you will be actively helping increase the visibility of our Charity and support us in the aim of making Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity the charity of choice for the community our Trust serves. This is an exciting opportunity to support the charity in building relationships with patients and colleagues and raise awareness to garner support so that the Charity can continue to enhance patient and colleague experience.

What does a Charity Champion do?

  • Charity Champions will motivate and engage others in fundraising and getting involved with our Charity.
  • Will help spread the word about the work going on across the Trust where charitable funds have made a difference to staff or patient experience.
  • Will be the go-to representative in your team, guiding and advising on fundraising events or gaining access to charitable funding.
  • Acting as the point of contact for service users wishing to give back in to the trust.

  • You can boost your CV – Becoming a Charity Champion gives you the opportunity to network and build relationships at all levels within Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust.

  • Email and telephone support from our dedicated Charity team.
  • Regular check-ins to gain feedback and share updates.
  • Providing you with fundraising materials and information relating to events, activities and the difference our charity makes.
