Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, our charity was able to fund a scanning machine that aids in supporting our patients, including those on the fertility pathway.

The Gynaecology Outpatients department at Queen Mary's Hospital will use the ultrasound scan equipment, which will offer one-stop scans to ensure patients can be scanned and discharged at their first gynaecology and fertility appointment.

Dr Leila Hanna, Consultant Gynaecologist (pictured below, left), said: The ultrasound scanner was a very important addition to our patient care, and it will have a great influence on our patient pathways for gynaecology and fertility. Thank you to our Trust Charity for funding it and supporting it in every way.

Margarita Vidiella, Head of Charity explained-The ultrasound scan machine is a perfect example of how our Trust Charity can help to improve patient care and experience. We couldn't have funded this machine without the help of our fantastic local communities.

We would like to say a huge thank you to anyone who has donated to or fundraised for Our Trust Charity. Your kindness is making a difference in the lives of local people every day, and we are incredibly appreciative of your support.
