Starting in April as part of their ‘Global Month of Good’, 18 Starbucks stores in South and East London have been fundraising for the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity

We are grateful to Starbucks for their continuous support. As for the second year row, throughout the months of April and May, local Starbucks stores across south east London and beyond have been fundraising for our Charity as part of their ‘Global Month of Good’.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity donation boxes are displayed in Starbucks stores including Cutty Sark, Borough and Canary Wharf.

their support included the Starbucks teams walking 5km from Cutty Sark to University Hospital Lewisham to deliver generous Starbucks refreshment packs to hospital for ward staff at University Hospital Lewisham and Queen Elizabeth Hospital to enjoy.

Over £450 has also been raised so far via Justgiving, and Starbucks will continue to display the donation boxes in their stores beyond the Global Month of Good.

Asnakech Berknh, Store Manager Starbucks said "We are really pleased to continue to support the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity through fundraising and donating Starbucks refreshments packs. It is a great opportunity to say thank you to the NHS staff for all they do."

Margarita Vidiella, Head of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity said:

We are grateful to Starbucks for their continued support, amazing fundraising efforts and generous donations. We were excited to welcome our Starbucks partners at the end of their 5k and thank them in person. Working with our local community is so important to us and we hope to continue this partnership in the future
