On Saturday 2nd September and Saturday 21st October 16 of our brave colleagues and friends of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Charity took on the incredible challenge of climbing the rigging of the iconic Cutty Sark clipper, in Greenwich.

Climbing the iconic historical tea clipper and taking in the views across the Thames included:

Non Executive Director of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust- Binka Layton

City Sprint partner Jody Ricketts and his son Ronnie braved the October elements to take on the challenge and raised £400 for our charity.

Sarah O'Mallo (Neonatal Discharge Coordinator), who alongside her daughter Nina faced their fears and in the process raised an incredible £574. 

Staff Nurse Rainey also overcame her fear of heights and completed the climb raising an amazing £485 for our charity.

Charity supporter Tim, accompanied by his niece and nephew also completed the climb, raising £375.

And of course we could not let everyone else have all the fun, our Trust charity team and family also tackled the climb raising £884.

A huge thank you to our climbers for helping us raise an amazing grand total of £3,262 for our charity,
