Staff from the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Finance team are cycling 500 miles across May, June and July to raise money for our charity.

The cycle challenge is being carried out by Deniz Apel (Financial Accountant), Peter Carter (Head of Financial Accounts) and “Binny” Binyam Ephrem (Deputy Costing Accountant), who will be doing:

  • The 100 mile Ride London bike ride on 29 May
  • The 100 mile Big Sussex Bike Ride on 19 June
  • The 300 mile London to Paris bike ride between 20 July and 24 July

Collectively the team will be cycling 1,500 miles! By supporting them, you’ll help our charity to fund projects and initiatives that enhance care and improve patient, visitor and staff experience.

We are all proud to be part of Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and to be cycling from London to Paris to raise money for our fantastic charity. From a personal point of view, I’m returning back to cycling after an injury which was enough to put anyone off – but which just made me even more determined to get back on my bike and complete these challenges!
