A huge cheer for the 4th Sidcup Scouts! A massive well done to the 4th Sidcup Scouts who raised £167.61 to support the Safari Ward’s outside play areas at Queen Elizabeth hospital, Woolwich. This token will support our young patients through their time in hospital. We are so grateful to the 4th Sidcup Scouts for choosing to fundraise for our Charity, by organising a bake sale. The 4th Sidcup Scouts also recently joined us for a check presentation at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where they got to view the play area at Safari Ward. David, Principal Pharmacist for Medicine, University Hospital Lewisham who helped organise the fundraising event for the Scouts said The Scouts were very excited to raise money for the children’s ward at the local hospital. It always makes it feel more tangible when you can visit the area and see where your money is going to help The dedication and kindness of the 4th Sidcup Scouts will make a real difference, supporting the dedicated paediatric team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital who care for our youngest patients in our community. This is the true spirit of scouting—helping others and making the world a better place.
